Chad & Megan

On a crisp, October day my husband Caleb and I loaded up in his piper-pacer and flew to Shenandoah National Park to meet Chad + Megan for their engagement session. We live for adventures so this day was one that filled up our love tanks. Chad + Megan often visited Shenandoah to get away from their home at the time in Washington City + enjoy some fresh air/hiking. They also got engaged here so it was an easy choice when we were discussing location ideas!

Megan was the bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed a few years ago so the fact that now she gets to be the bride in front of our camera’s has us all the more excited! That is one of my favorite parts of this job - the connections and relationships that are established from all the beautiful stories we photograph.

Chad + Megan braved the cooler temperature and slight drizzle with smiles on their faces and laughter between shots. They trusted our ideas as we explored all over the mountain top and created some beautiful photographs. We can’t wait for their wedding day this coming October! Enjoy some of my favorites!
